One of the sales staff 'assisting' would have been more suited to used car sales, as he was aggressive, condescending and dubious in his statements.
Being told that the price of your basic bottom of the line reconstituted limestone paver was $47.00 per square meter , and then be told in the same breath that if we signed up to buy within a certain time they they would be $33.00 , was laughable. And the statement that normally $400.00 is the cost for delivery to a location 6 minutes from your yard?? Righto mate, take my cash please.
Upon leaving the display store, my wife said she felt as if she had been in Bali, as this particular staff member was more akin to one of the beach /street hawkers in his style, rather than a salesperson in ''prestigious'' paving supply company.
The 1 star was for the consultant helping us originally, before his mate, or Boss, butted in with the sales tactics.
Maybe we didn't look upmarket enough, or they're already making money hand over fist, to actually be concerned over being competitive?
